A Star-Studded Lineup

Electric Picnic 2024 boasts an impressive lineup, with international superstars and homegrown talent set to perform. Alongside the headliners, Irish acts such as Kneecap, Kodaline, and Lankum are also taking the stage, showcasing the rich diversity of talent that the festival has become known for. The festival’s evolution over the past two decades is evident in the scale and variety of its lineup, catering to a broad audience of music lovers.

Perfect Weather for a Perfect Weekend

Festival-goers are in for a treat as Met Éireann forecasts a dry weekend with temperatures reaching up to 22°C. This pleasant weather is expected to enhance the overall festival experience, allowing attendees to fully enjoy the outdoor performances, art installations, and other activities without the usual concerns about rain and mud.

Health and Safety: A Priority

Amidst the excitement, the festival organizers and the HSE are taking health and safety seriously, particularly concerning drug use. This year, the HSE has set up drug-checking services at two designated tents within the festival grounds. Attendees can anonymously surrender drugs, which will then be analyzed. If dangerous substances are detected, alerts will be issued via the Electric Picnic app, aiming to prevent potential harm.

Electric Picnic 2024 is shaping up to be a landmark event, celebrating two decades of music, art, and community. With a stellar lineup, ideal weather, and robust health and safety measures in place, the festival is expected to set a new standard for future editions. As the weekend unfolds, Stradbally will once again be the epicenter of Ireland’s cultural scene, leaving lasting memories for the tens of thousands who have made the pilgrimage to this iconic event.
