Ireland U20 Women Earn First Win With Four Trys
The Ireland Women’s U20 team concluded the Six Nations Summer Series with a decisive victory over Scotland. Under the leadership of Niamh Briggs, the team entered halftime with a commanding 13-7 lead, initiated by an early try from Sophie Barrett, and further extended by a conversion and two penalties from Kate Flannery.
In the second half, Beth Buttimer, who was named player of the match, scored two tries. These contributions, along with tries from Eadoin Murtagh and Hannah Wilson, secured a dominant 37-7 triumph at Stadio Sergio Lanfranchi on Sunday morning.
