Sophie Perry Honors Shannen Doherty After Her Passing

Sophie Perry, daughter of the late Luke Perry, recently paid a heartfelt tribute to Shannen Doherty, who passed away on Saturday, July 13.

On Sunday, July 14, Sophie posted a nostalgic photo on social media, featuring her father and Doherty, his co-star and onscreen love interest from the iconic TV series “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

The Instagram Story depicted Doherty, known for her role as Brenda Walsh, smiling as Luke Perry, who portrayed Dylan McKay, playfully bit her pearl necklace from behind. The post was simply adorned with a white heart emoji.

Sophie is the daughter of Rachel “Minnie” Sharp, who married Luke Perry in November 1993. The couple divorced in 2003 but shared custody of Sophie and her brother, Jack. Luke Perry passed away in 2019 at the age of 52 due to a fatal stroke.

Shannen Doherty passed away at the age of 53 after a prolonged battle with cancer.
