Trump Stumps Harris: Trump Wins 2024 US Election
As of November 6, 2024, former President Donald Trump has secured victories in several key battleground states, including North Carolina and Georgia, positioning him favourably in the race for the White House.
In North Carolina, Trump garnered 50.8% of the vote compared to Vice President Kamala Harris’s 48.1%.
In Georgia, Trump lead by approximately 120,000 votes.
These victories have provided Trump with a significant lead in the electoral vote count. He currently holds 230 electoral votes, while Harris has 210. To win the presidency, a candidate must secure at least 270 electoral votes.
In addition to these wins, Trump is leading in other crucial swing states, including Pennsylvania, Michigan, and Wisconsin. The outcomes in these states are still pending, and their results will be pivotal in determining the final outcome of the election.
The Republican Party has also regained control of the Senate, with Bernie Moreno defeating Sherrod Brown in Ohio, securing their 51st seat. This shift in power grants the GOP substantial influence over future administrative and judicial appointments.
