Aer Lingus has officially announced its newest transatlantic route, a direct flight between Dublin Airport and Nashville, Tennessee. Starting on April 12, 2025, this route will run four times weekly, marking another addition to Aer Lingus’ growing list of transatlantic services. This latest service will utilize the Airbus A321XLR, a single-aisle aircraft that provides fuel efficiency for medium to long-haul flights.

Nashville: A Destination for Music and Business

Nashville, known globally as the home of country music, offers much more than just a rich musical history. In addition to iconic tourist sites such as the Grand Ole Opry, Ryman Auditorium, and Music Row, Nashville is a rapidly growing hub for fashion, finance, healthcare, and automotive industries, making it an attractive destination for both tourists and business travelers.

The new route is a strategic move by Aer Lingus, further expanding its North American network, which already includes new flights to Denver and Minneapolis-St. Paul, and existing services to major U.S. cities like New York and Chicago.

Competitive Pricing and Passenger Perks

Tickets for the new service start at €499 return and are already available for booking. As part of its growing transatlantic portfolio, Aer Lingus emphasizes customer experience and convenience, particularly by leveraging Dublin Airport’s U.S. Customs Preclearance facilities. This allows passengers to clear U.S. immigration and customs before they even board their flight, reducing time spent at the airport upon arrival.

Ryanair Expands Cork Winter Routes

While Aer Lingus is focusing on its transatlantic services, Ryanair has also made headlines by announcing new winter routes from Cork Airport. Travelers can look forward to flights to Brussels Charleroi and Rome Ciampino, as well as additional services to Lanzarote and Manchester. With these new routes, Ryanair continues to strengthen its position in the European low-cost airline market.
