Conor McGregor Takes a Swing at Jake Paul After Victory Over Mike Perry
When it comes to post-fight commentary, you can always rely on Conor McGregor to provide a good dose of entertainment and some brutally honest opinions, especially when Jake Paul is involved.
Last night (20 July) was no exception. The 36-year-old UFC star had some sharp words for ‘The Problem Child’ and his opponent Mike Perry after their bout at the Amalie Arena in Tampa, Florida.
Perry stepped up to face Paul after the highly anticipated fight between the YouTuber and boxing legend Mike Tyson, 58, was postponed until later this year.
Jake Pauls Victory Over Mike Perry
The 32-year-old Michigan native found himself on the canvas three times and took quite the beating before Paul—who made a grand entrance in a chariot dressed as a gladiator—secured a TKO victory in the sixth round.
With this win, Paul improved his professional boxing record to 10-1, adding another former UFC fighter to his list of victories.

But according to McGregor, this win is nothing to boast about.
The Irish fighter didn’t hold back on X, calling Paul the “biggest p*ssbag” and accusing him of facing a much smaller opponent and using performance enhancers.
To many sports fans, McGregor was simply voicing what everyone was thinking.
McGregor’s first post read: “Jake Paul is the biggest pssbag I have ever seen in my life. 40 pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still shtting himself in there.
“Nakisa, you should take him to Vegas. Oh, that’s right, you could never, the athletic commission testing, real testing, real fighting. B*tch asses. You could never.
“And then calling out 60-year-old Mike Tyson fresh off an in-flight medical emergency? I swear to God, a fat can of btch pss. Most valuable p*ssbag.”
But McGregor wasn’t done yet. As part of the ownership group at Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship (BKFC), he ‘released’ Perry from the promotion following his defeat.
Perry had made a name for himself in BKFC after leaving UFC, securing five significant wins. However, McGregor wasn’t interested after seeing him knocked out.
In another post, he wrote: “Hey Mike, you’re released and you can go and compete in your smelly dirty boxing championship thing. The smell of it, good luck. You’re fired. @bareknucklefc.”
Explaining his decision, McGregor added: “Perry took a pay cut to take that fight, by the way. It was a wish of his. Astounding.
“He will not be offered a return to the BKFC ring. He can do a few matches of his new dirty boxing thing with the MMA sparring gloves he has set up. We wish him well. Wish granted.”
This turnaround was quite something, especially since McGregor had previously said he was ‘rooting for’ Perry in his bout against Paul, who he had called a ‘little dweeb of a thing.’
Paul, 27, responded by vowing to ’embarrass’ the entire BKFC by defeating their star, which is pretty much what happened…and McGregor is not pleased about it.
He’s not the only one upset with the outcome, as many on social media agreed with his scathing tweets.
One person commented on Paul’s win: “He fought one real boxer in Tommy Fury and lost. He cherry picks and always has an unfair advantage.”
Another wrote: “It is actually sick, he looked five weight classes bigger. Clear weight advantage on all of those shots.”
A third added: “Only time he fought someone his age and size was Tommy Fury, and he lost LOL.”
While a fourth commented: “FINALLY you say something. AGREED.”
Paul addressed McGregor’s rant in his post-fight press conference after the win over Perry, saying: “Conor’s on Twitter, he’s on his yacht, but guess where he’s not? In the ring fighting me.
“The ‘Notorious MMA’ is scared of Jake Paul from Disney Channel.”
