Temperatures will hover between 10 and 17 degrees, warmest in the west and coolest in the northeast. A light to moderate northeast breeze will keep things feeling fresh, especially in exposed areas. While the bulk of the country will enjoy dry weather, Leinster and the midlands may experience a brief isolated shower before skies clear again.

As the afternoon progresses, expect bright conditions to dominate, especially across Connacht and Munster, with temperatures reaching up to 17°C. These regions will enjoy the warmest feel of the day due to minimal cloud cover and good sunshine.

Tonight’s Forecast in Ireland

It will be dry with largely clear skies and very light winds. Temperatures are expected to drop to between 1 and 5 degrees, so a touch of grass frost may form in sheltered rural areas. If you’re in the countryside, it’s a good evening to bring in the plants or cover them up.

Additional Weather Notes

  • UV levels are expected to be moderate, so sunscreen is advisable if you’re heading out for extended periods.
  • Pollen counts remain moderate across the country—hay fever sufferers, take note.
  • Mist or fog may form later tonight in some inland areas.
