On April 28, 2025, a tragic discovery was made near Percy Priest Lake in Nashville, Tennessee. A local resident, while walking on a trail between the Lincoya Bay Apartments and the lake, found the bodies of two men in a wooded area. Both victims had suffered multiple gunshot wounds. ​

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department (MNPD) identified one of the victims as 19-year-old Amir Landan Wilkerson from Alabaster, Alabama. His identity was confirmed through a wallet found on his person. Wilkerson was last seen by his family on the afternoon of April 27. ​

The second victim has not yet been identified. Both men are believed to be of Hispanic descent. ​

Residents in the area reported hearing multiple gunshots around 2:30 a.m. on April 28. One resident stated, “I was kind of scared. [It] happened around 2:30 when I wake up, and I start hearing more and more. So it was maybe like 10 times or something like that.”

The MNPD is actively investigating the case, working to determine why the two men were in Nashville and who may have been involved in their deaths. Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463.
